American Sports and Performance Dietitians Association (ASPDA) offers an auto-renew option for Allied Healthcare and Sports RD members. Signing up for auto-renew ensures continuous access to member benefits, such as webinars, professional resources, and discounts. ASPDA reserves the right to discontinue the auto-renew plan or modify its rules at any time. Members will be notified of these changes in advance.
When and how will I be charged?
Members enrolled in the auto-renew program will be charged the full amount of their membership dues on their membership expiration date. The same card used to enroll initially will be charged. You will receive an email receipt to confirm payment and your renewal status. ASPDA follows PCI compliance rules.
If you enroll in auto-renew with a credit card that belongs to your company, you agree that you are an authorized user of said credit card. If you become unauthorized to use the card, you are responsible for removing the credit card information from ASPDA and replacing it with a different payment method.
Will I be notified before auto-renew happens?
ASPDA members receive three renewal email notifications to the primary email address associated with their membership account approximately 30, 14, and 7 days before the auto-renew credit card is charged. Each email will provide instructions on how to check if you are enrolled in auto-renew.
Members are responsible for maintaining a current email address capable of receiving ASPDA emails. The inability to receive ASPDA emails will not be grounds for a refund.
I forgot to remove my membership from auto-renew, but I didn’t intend to renew it. Can I get a refund?
If you were charged for renewal but didn’t intend to renew, please remember that your membership was set to auto-renew based on the terms you agreed to when you joined or renewed. ASPDA memberships are non-refundable.
Can I find out if my credit card is listed for someone else's auto-renew?
If you think your card was used by another member (e.g., former intern or staff member), please email their name to Michele Nichols, Member Service Manager, at [email protected].
Where do I make changes or updates?
Watch our instructional video on how to edit your auto-renew setup. Members can edit their auto-renewal during their renewal period, which ends 30 days before their membership expiration date.
Members wanting to cancel their auto-renew outside their renewal period should contact Michele Nichols, Member Service Manager, at (812) 369-4393 or [email protected].
Will my dues amount change?
ASPDA reserves the right to change membership dues rates at any time. You will be notified of dues rates and any due rate changes in email notices.
What if my card is no longer valid?
If a member’s card is declined, the member will be notified by email with instructions on how to pay their membership manually. Your membership will not be renewed until a new payment is received. There is a 90-day grace period before your membership lapses, and your member benefits stop.
